Tina is Kurt and Terra's daughter. She finished her championship with multiple group placements. She has an excellent harsh coat in a nice dark red, a good front and head, and very nice movement. Tina was bred three times. Her first litter was sired by multi BIS Am/Can Ch. Starbarrack Food For Thought. A son from that litter, Ch. Withensea Ovation (Fritz) won a Best in Show at nine months of age, and placed #3 Standard Wire in Canada in 2002. Tina's second litter was sired by BIS Am/Can Ch. Xplosive SW Treis Pinheiros. Her nine puppies were born in May of 2002.One of the puppies from that litter, Ch.Withensea Mayfair, owned by Anne Goldbeck of Trigold Kennels, placed #5 Standard Wire in Canada in 2003. Tina's third litter was a repeat breeding to BIS Am/Can Ch. Xplosive SW Treis Pinheiros. She produced eleven puppies! Nine survived; five finished their championships. Tina was truly a breeder's dream. She had a calm and stable temperament, whelped easily, and was a loving and devoted mother to her puppies. In her three litters, she produced six Canadian champions, one American champion, and one Am.Can. champion. Three of her puppies were placed in the Top Five Canadian breed winners, and two of her puppies won All-Breed Best in Shows. Quite a record for the singleton puppy from our first litter of wires! At the end of 2003, Tina was retired from the whelping box and went to live with the Bignell family in Nova Scotia. She is enjoying the life of a much-loved family pet, sleeping on the bed, attending obedience classes, and going for walks in the park.
